It happens to us all. Maybe it’s an older sibling, a friend, or even a parent, but it is inevitable that, one day, someone will shatter our childhood illusions and tell us that Father Christmas isn’t actually real.

It was a “dark, dark day” for You Me At Six frontman Josh Franceschi when he learned that Santa wouldn’t be coming down his chimney…

“Christmas has kind of lost it’s magic for me, ever since I found out that Father Christmas wasn’t real,” the singer told Kerrang!. “It was when I was 14… That’s when I stopped getting presents at the end of my bed.

“My parents told me he’d stopped coming to our house so I said, ‘Why? What have I done wrong?’,” he continues. “That was dark, dark - a really horrible way to find out about it!”

He was 14? Jesus H. Christ…

Well, if you see Josh over the festive period, please, please don’t tell him that The Tooth Fairy and The Easter Bunny don’t exist!

Big heads up, our March Headline tour is selling really really fast. We’ve never sold tickets so fast on any tour. So for all of you who are wanting to come, i would advise in you purchasing your tickets sooner rather than later.

We’ve already sold 1000 tickets in London….catch my drift player haters, catch my drift.

LONDON ASTORIA, OCTOBER 27TH!!!!!

So as the people of the UK know, we’ve been harping on and on about us leaving the UK for a while to tour elsewhere.

Our first ever show in mainland Europe will be in Paris with Fall Out Boy.

It’s already Sold Out, so obviously if you weren’t already coming, then i guess you’re definitely not now….but we’ll be back touring the rest of Europe after our UK headline tour.

First date is on the 15th of October.

So the tour starts in less than a months time so make sure you pick up your tickets now.

If you want tickets to the Manchester show at the Academy, you’ll have to call the venue as momentarily all ticket outlets online are sold out.
